CMCArts is housed in a beautiful, historic building on Strand Street in downtown Frederiksted. Frederiksted harbor, the Frederiksted pier and a beautiful esplanade with benches are directly across the street. The traditional Danish colonial building with its arched arcade shelters a beautiful, block-deep walled courtyard which opens on the street behind.
Beaches and a variety of bars and restaurants are within easy walking distance. In addition to housing the CMCArts offices, gift shop, galleries, studio spaces and lovely garden, the building is home to two apartments accommodating from two to four people that are available for short-term rent through Airbnb.
